I covered some of the skateboard 'protest' yesterday, too. Being a retired skater, I had to at least get some video...and most of those guys were cool. Even the ones that joined up with the rabble-rousing bio-protesters. But Im thinking those guys were trying to pick up several of the hot-ass ladies that were there (not kidding...super hot protester chicks).

Still, the word of mouth thing drives me crazy. I come from the school of, "I dont believe shit unless I have proof". Or, at least from several credible sources. I dont fall for the old propaganda game...whether it's from the right or the left of politics. I'd rather keep my foot out of my mouth and think for myself. Bah...Im still a pissed off piece of shit...

Off the subject... what was your first stick? Mine was a Brand X...followed by a Vision Psycho that I picked up at Spike's back in the day....

Shit, man...no more skating for me. I'd like to...espescially when Vision re-released allof their classic boards again. Im just a old fart snowboarder now. Much more fulfulling, even if I can only do it for portions of the year. Hell, we're talking about a Colorado trip this winter already...
