Finally got out to Sayreville skatepark yesterday. I did really good by my standards. I went faster and higher then ever. The downside, however, is that the slams were twice as hard. I was up to the copeing in the 10ft bowl and got jammed up and fell straight down to the flat, splat. The one that hurt the most was when I was motoring towards the oververt and just fell. No particular reason, I just lost it. When I hit the ground all I heard was a thud and a bunch of voices yelling oooohhhh. I got up and when asked if I was ok, I assured everyone that my fat broke my fall. I love this place and I urge everyone who skates to go there, the people are great.

I wonder what I would have turned out like if I had learned how to skate....it was just something I never bothered with and I can't figure out why. So is it better skating to music or to no music?

I personally like no music. I like the sound of the wheels and the pop of the wood. I like the music playing on the deck where we wait to take our turn because it can pump you up.
