Finally decided to do a blog here.
I've been hella busy recently. I'm about a month into a new job. It's ok work, but it pays better than my last job, so I'm happy with it.
Now that the boring info is out of the way, time for the fun stuff.
I am now in a new band! The music is sounding pretty sweet too! So far we have 5 covers ready and are working on 7 originals. It's a pretty nice set up, I'm the frontman and only do vocals live, but I'm playing a huge part in the guitar writing. Our covers are Your Betrayal by Bullet For My Valentine, Prayer by Disturbed, This Time It's Different by Evans Blue, Frantic by Metallica, and Cold by Crossfade, with a possibility of Caving In by Bullets And Octane, Devil Side by Vamps, and Dozing Green by Dir En Grey being added to the list soon.
I also have some jams sessions going on that may become a second band. This one is pure Progressive metal and is heavily influenced by Opeth, Dir En Grey, Animals As Leaders, Tool, etc. I'm playing both my PRS 6 string and my Ibanez 7 string in this project.
I'm also doing a solo project. It's industrial rock inspired by NIN, Black Light Burns, and Puscifer. I'm playing all instruments on this project and am very excited to see what I can do!
Hope everyone is enjoying their summer! I'm ready for this holiday weekend. My birthday is on Tuesday, so this weekend is when I will celebrate, haha.

Haha, yea! Finally! I've taken audio production courses at college and have been playing and writing for years, but my last job was night shift, so there wasn't time to jam with anyone and get things moving. Now I finally have the time and the right group of musicians to unleash this music on the world!
