R.I.P. NEW ORLEANS
Ray Nagin is an idiot. What made him think it was okay to say the things he said? Why are the hotel owners in New Orleans trying to kick homeless Katrina victims out? This whole FEMA disaster is doing more damage than the hurricane itself. I'm going home to visit in June, to see how well they've cleaned up. (& to visit my parents) I hate to say it, but I think Mississippi will be in better shape than New Orleans.

I should check with my friend Dave again to see how his parents are doing. They live in New Orleans, but in the high and dry part of town.
