Well, I've gone and done it. It's been almost two months since my last post and in that time I've (mostly) moved to a new apartment as well as cut off my nose to spite my face with regards to my work.
Being an IT Consultant has it's pros and cons - mostly though I'm tired of having less experienced techs asking me questions in order to solve problems and being able to bill multiple hours for it while I get to bill a whopping 15 minutes for the same ticket. It would be fine if I wasn't paid by the billable hour. Nothing like helping people take money out of my pocket. Well, I'm back to dealing with my clients exclusively - now I just need to resurrect the majority of them because I've been unavailable for months on end. *sigh*
Wish me luck... I'm going to need some.
