Week 4 of my alcohol free diet and ya know, it's funny, but I really don't miss it at all...
Hired a personal trainer at the gym and he's kicking my ass, but in a good, motivational way. I've lost 10lbs and and noticed a big difference in my energy, mood and muscle tone, it hurts but it's worth it.
Picked up a bunch of Hellboy stuff from a really nice collector in WA, he really didn't want to part with any of it, but he needed the money. Nabbed a few items I've been searching for for a while (Hellboy sculpted magnet and Abe bust by Bowen, The comic style HB nodder and The 1:1 scale Right Hand of Doom from Sideshow), so I'm a happy kid... Now I just need to find room for them, but that's a job for the weekend.
This pitbull (or any dog that remotely resembles a pit) ban that was passed in Ontario really pisses me off, as a pitbull owner and animal lover, it's just wrong to wage war on one particular breed of dog who just has a bad reputation...I could go on for hours about how the law should've been to crack down on the irresponsible owners who should be put to blame and how innhumaine it is to just execute any pitbull that is brought into an animal shelter...It's just wrong. My dog is my baby, can ya tell? She's a loyal and loving pooch, not the monster the uneducated make pitbulls out to be. She was rescued from the SPCA and it really bothers me to think that if she had been brought in to the shelter now, they would kill her... It makes me sick!
I read somewhere that pitbulls are number 8 on the 'biting list', right after poodles, go figure.
