Not much to report as of late. I've been a bit more social than usual. Stopped by a ridiculously crowded party last night and managed to endure for about 7 minutes before sneaking away in realization of just how bad I am at dealing with large groups of people. Drove way the fuck out to My Old Kentucky Home State Park in Bardstown to work a reception which was probably the best show I've ever done for my part, despite the most annoying group of kids I've ever dealt with. The funniest thing was the bride dancing it up in the middle of everything carrying a huge bottle of wine. The entire wedding party was ecstatic, and told me how great I was several times, but alas.. no tip.

I've taken a short term marijuana hiatus; one week and counting. Time to get a real job through the week and save some green rectangles. I've realized that my recreational drug use is owed purely to boredom, which there is suddenly an abundance of.

Canopic is playing Tuesday. Where and when, I have no clue. We've made a nasty habit of accepting the most un-organized shows people can throw at us lately. A show is a show however, and we'd be practicing that night anyway, so I don't mind. We'll be recording one song for a compilation CD to be included with admission to our halloween show, along with candy, stickers, buttons, and other small goodies. It should be a good time.

I've been listening to almost nothing but The Mars Volta lately. If you haven't heard them then you need to get off your ass and go buy their CD "De-Loused in the Comatorium". It's really beyond words how disgustingly good it is.
