Another day in the desert. Groundhogs day. Get up, work, go home, gym, sleep; repeat.
This place is filthy. Took a drive to the desert the other day;
That's a solid depiction of the desert. For reals. The entire thing is like that.
This place if fucked up. I've seen kids in cars no older than 2 months old with no car seat. No one, including children, ever, ever wear a seat belt. Life is cheap here. Almost daily on my way to work I see remnants of a car crash, usually totaled to the point that no one would survive. Friends on multiple occasions have seen dead people lying on the road, and cars honking to get by. Apparently they want the dead to come back to life and move there vehicle?
Cars drive wayyyyyyy to fast. In excess of 220 km, not sure what that is in miles, but insanely fast.
Anyway, things aren't so bad I guess. Going to Halloween party Saturday night with my insane new Brit friends. I don't even hang around with the Canadian peeps I came here with. Frankly, they annoy the shit out me.

But the Brits have there own set of issues. There daily life revolves around coke and hookers the most part. Neither of which I am even remotely interested in. Last Thursday, leaving the embassy, had to stop one of my british friends from taking this chick home tht was so drunk, she couldn't stand or remember where she lived. This was after he intentionally separated her from her friends. He was NOT impressed with me. Fuck him tho.
But honestly? They are great guys. Not painting a great picture there, but we all have our flaws.
I have Barbigirl waiting for me at home. So I am not evenly slightly interested in that bullshit. When we hang (the brits and I) it's just jokes and fun. No hookers!! Hahah
