Yay vacation! No work tomorrow, or the next, or the day after etc...you get the idea... No big plans. Do some stuff around the house, chillax, play some vids, drink some beers, swear at the TV....oh wait, kinda big plans. We should be getting our new boxer pup this week, still waiting to firm up dates and such.
Been snowing like mad here...and I think I love it. I loved winter as a kid, and hated it for a long time. Then I had kids, and I am love again. So, so much fun.
Here is what we have been up to the last couple of days...
I was thinkiing today how much fun it is to play in the snow. Maybe as good as playing at the beach. Maybe better. More effort for sure. Maybe thats why it may seem better at times. Once your out there, bundled up, your damn well gonna be sure not waste it, and make every moment count, cause your freezing your fuckin ass off....hahah...
So, check this out. This is how my life goes sometimes. We bought a new car in March. I have my Ipod, and it hooks up to the car, so I have never had the need to put in CD into the stereo in my car. I joked many times with Barbigirl that the damn thing probably doesn't even work. Told her just as many that we should try it before the warranty expires on it. Anyway, my boys, bought me a new CD for Xmas. A live Nirvana CD. Decided I would listen to it in the car. I said to my wife as I was putting it in...with a smile and a laugh..."this is not gonna work...stupid CD player...hahah..." ...so yeah, it doesn't. Really? Fuck me....seriously? After joking around for months? It seriously doesn't work? And of course, I try it with the CD my kids bought me, which now won't even eject. I alwasy rip my CD's to my PC but didn't get a chance to yet with this one. I tried everything to get it out..ain't happening. haven't heard a note of it..fuck...shit...fuck again. Lesson learned....knock wood or keep your fucking mouth shut.....
Such is life.....
Ahh well....its still a good life....
