Food also went on the credit card. I've been out of work for 6 months and my savings are gone. I had to borrow money from my mom to pay my mortgage this month. Not fun when you're trying to be an independant adult...
Shit is going to hell around here. A guy I know (not a friend) shot 5 cops, killed at least 1, and is in a standoff with the police. I know way too many people affected by this and it sucks that they're going to have to deal with the fallout of this asshole.
