wow...is this Christmas visit crap over with yet?! I'm trying so hard to be the good daughter but I'm at my wits end! Not only did my well-intentioned father and along-for-the-ride mother come for the weekend but my husbands old-fashioned dad as well and of course he had advice for his only son as to just what my place should be in this house! HAHA...too bad the old man left to visit friends for the wknd or I could've told him what a wonderful sense of humor he has!
Now my husbands talking about spending New Years in a quiet fashion here at home w/his dad (he's only gone for the wknd but will return Mon/Tue). Have I mentioned that my hubby is 9 years older than myself...there's a bit of a time warp in our house and I just can't spend my New Years inside w/the Grouchy Old Men!! And people ask me how the heck we ended up together..I promise he was nothing like this when we met!
