Yesterday was a great day, but the lead up to it was brutal. It was an opportunity to go visit with a friend who was retiring...yeah I am that old... Anyway, great time to see a friend give some support and as luck has it quite a few of the old fellas were going to be there too...and that's where PTSD and anxiety can fuck with you. You begin to think there are reasons for not going...or that something will make you feel like crap....those beasts can take away your opportunities to engage in simple conversation.
Well thankfully I was able to work through the smoke screen the beasts were throwing got to see some great friends and felt great. It's going to be a busy weekend but filled with friends.
Might even still get some fun stuff done... But if not... I am still very lucky!!
