This flu is deadly ...

I'm finally feeling human again. Still not totally there yet. I had an amazing talk with my mother today. Sounds like my father has reached a point of maturity or perhaps mortality where he's fessing up to be a verbal jerk to my mom. I hope that she has the strength to follow through on his recent admittances and keep him from reverting.

How pleasant it would be if they could really enjoy the next few decades without the underlying stresses of having to walk on eggshells to accomodate his insecurities.

it's always so refreshing to see someone who has actually been able to admit their faults...and when they can try to change them to make a better relationship it's freakin' fab. haha. no- just cause i said fab doens't mean it's a joke. i mean it. so many people go on forever making the same mistakes over and over again. hurting people they love. it's sad.
