Today was odd - last day of working from home for this bloody comapony I've chosen to leave. I now have to go into the new offce that I haven't even seen for 5 working days before I shove off. It will be quite surreal as a) I have been working from home for more than a month now and b) well, I will be leaving.
My boss *still* hasn't circulated the news to the department let alone the company - this is getting to be really awkward. You give people and inch and they take a mile.
It seems as though the beautiful weather has left us for a bit - I'm a little chilled tonight. Though I should keep it in perspective as I'm certain that many of you are still shovelling snow if not the victims of spring floods and thawing dog shit.
I'm still smoking which I hope to phase out in the next few days. It pisses me off that - even though I know this was the only solution (getting out of there) and have no regrets - the process got me nerves so fucking bunched up that I've been eating shit junk food and smoking cigarettes for a week.
All will be good in short order though.
