Tomorrow is tamale day!
I'm fucking stoked. Ideally I would have made them over the xmas season but my buddy and I had nary a minute to spare.
It's an all day affair of boozing and filling and forming and steaming. Check out the fillings we're making:
Oaxacan pork mole
Red Chile pork and chevre
Zucchini, black bean, corn and capers
Chicken and green chile
four cheese
Gonna make like 10 dozen and freeze 'em.

I am looking into a trip to see my beloved Kings play the Flames and Oilers. One year I saw them in Montreal, Toronto and Ottawa and was able to squeeze in a game in Buffalo vs. the Black Hawks.
Oh and a band I am working with plays the Casbah on the 4th of Feb. I posted it on the site. If I come down, I'll let you know.
