honestly, this has been one of the strangest weeks of my life . . . from my B-Day to X-mas on through the weekend. it's as if each day has something new to reveal about myself.

in the midst of this I've begun a new mix CD and writing a short story. making a mix CD is probably one of the most enjoyable things I...

what's the worst Christmas present you've ever gotten?

here's one of mine.

wtf! if only i had some tan dockers to go with the sweater. maybe some penny loafers. yeah . . . then all the ladies would want to get up close to the man with most . . . *lingers off into daydream*

yeah, my in-laws got it for me. my advice is...

I'm joining for a lot of reasons. Most of it can be boiled down to me being bored and restless and feeling like I'm not doing anything with my life. You said that you didn't like how your ass belongs to the corps---well that doesn't bother me too much. For the last few years I've basically been on vacation. Since highschool I've generally only worked about 20 hours a week so I've had more free time to do what I want than many people get in a lifetime. It's been fun and all but I don't want to just go on like this forever just slacking off and being lazy. I figure that sure I might hate the corps but maybe when I'm done I'll finally be ready to finish school and do something with my life. Maybe it won't have that effect on me but even if it doesn't I'm sure I'll do all right in the military. I don't mind being bossed around as long as the boss knows what he's doing. I'm also the type of person who likes a lot of routine in my life. I tend to excell under pressure. Anyways, maybe it's all a big mistake but I really do think it'll be good for me.

what a long, strange, beautiful weekend. it's when i think the world has offered me all it can that it opens up and reveals another strand of infinity for me to explore.

getting older isn't bad at all, i think the older you get, the more you're able to appreciate what's happening around you.

it was good to meet some other SG members at the...

i got my new computer today! i finally get to put together my studio. it's very satisfying that after all these years of dreaming of putting together a proper home sound studio it's actually coming to fruition. the rest is all hard play and inspiration.

i think the best things in life are those things that can never have an endpoint. like kung fu, the...

"Billy, do you like films about gladiators?"

i would like to have a word added to Webster's Dictionary. the word is "heteroflexible", and its synonym, the more urbane vernacular, "metrosexual." this is translated as " (n.) a male whose coutured dress, stylish appearance, and overall panache, often gets him confused as a homosexual, when in fact he is not gay."

yes, there are men out...

I had the misfortune of getting stuck at a jock spoatie in the suburbs of San Fancisco years ago. These jocks were super protective of their girls and I didn't want to got in some pissy fight because they were threatened.

So I flirted with them. Lots of eye contact and complements. I remember getting the most evil looks from the girls... I wouldn't have slept with any of them, but I had a great time.

And hell, here is to a man who is trying to make being a man attractive!

finally healthy again. i was just researching my horoscope and it said that the lunar eclipse on the 9th was going to fuck me up healthwise a little bit and until the solar eclipse on the 23rd, and that's just what happened. i was never really into astrology until i was reading up on gravity waves. scientists have yet to discover them although they're probably...

Hey.. thought you made some good points concerning drugs/criminality on the CE board.

I can't see the stars in Ohio either. The blackout this summer was nice.. it was so bizarre to be standing the middle of Cleveland and see hundreds of stars in the sky.. shooting stars too.

What's Burning Man?

aboynamedmoon:
I'm glad you're into astrology- it's a great subject. I just wanted to remind you that the stars are not the source or "reason" for our illnesses and health problems. All illness is the manifestation of our mental and emotional patterns. If you think that illness "just happens," you are externalizing your personal power. Everything we experience in life is a reflection of our beliefs, thoughts, intensions, attutudes, and emotions. You might want to question every astrologer who says that this or that is going to happen to you, because you create your own reality.

just getting over being sick. i haven't been this sick in 5 years. it's kind of fun the first couple of days, not having anything to do, or really, in a state where you can't do anything. but i can only watch so much television. except for PBS documentaries.

so every couple hundred thousand years, the magnetic poles flip, so that the south pole becomes...

Hey man good to get in touch with you again! I'm sure I'll be going down to SF sometime in the next few months. Walter is being very persuasive in the matter. I'll bring some records with me and maybe we can do some tag-team mixin! Peace outside brotha! smile

back from the South Seas. going away for awhile is a good way to make you appreciate being back in the U.S. all the homelessness, agitated drivers, the smell of urine in the morning . . . sorry, i'm getting sentimental.

i had to evacuate my kung fu school today because someone put a hand grenade at a nearby gas station. i'm not sure if...
