the party last weekend went well. it was a good crowd and i played a solid set. i ended up talking with a couple of promoters too which might lead to some more gigs. now i need to get my new mix worked out. also, i have the set i did on Stanford radio in hi-def MP3 format. so if anyone wants a copy of it just let me know!
my cat is bugging out today. she has a serious love-jones for me as she is constantly following me around the house. as i sit here talking she's insinuated herself into my lap. hmm, she smells -- time for a bath. my cat behaves like a dog. she waits for me by the door. she comes when i call her.
the funniest thing she does is her jealousy of other women. she tolerates naiad, but we had a female roommate and my cat used to vomit on her stuff. the roommate came to visit us a couple of weeks ago. we just got a new mattress and our friend went to show how soft the bed was by pushing down on it. well, my cat had actually thrown-up on the sheets, so when our friend went to push down on the bed she put her hand in cat puke. my cat is a stealthy one. but i wouldn't say that is one of her more endearing qualities, for sure.
