it's pouring rain outside, the deluge of water crashing against the house is creating the most beautiful ambience. i love the sound of water, it calms me in a way nothing else can. i wonder if this is because i am a fire sign? when i was young, i grew up near the Atlantic Ocean. i remember sitting on the beach at night and just listening to the waves roll across the shore, always the same, but infinitely variating. i would sit for hours and listen. this is partially the reason i have a waterfall tattoo on my arm.

last week was one of the worst i have experienced in a very long while. i had mad stress dealing with a party i put on last
friday night. i had the flu. one of my favorite relatives died. i haven't been able to work out lately either, so i haven't been able to release all the stress. instead i've been internalizing a lot of the emotions i've been experiencing and it really kicked my ass.

that's why i'm happy it's raining. it reminds me that this will all wash away.
