there's nothing worse than spending 4 1/2 hours in the waiting room of a hospital. the rows of feeble and flu-stricken souls lining the glass walls of UCSF waiting hours for a brief respite in the doctor's office that never seems to come. it's like Kafka's The Trial with less accusations and more phlegm.
it all started for me on Sunday when i ate lunch with Amitabha, Lola, Coco, Olivia & S5 - who were all very enjoyable company - but by the time i made it home i felt like passing out. yesterday was a little better, but i woke up this morning with chills and serious congestion. the sad thing is that i'm pretty mild compared to Naiad.
hopefully i will have recovered enough to go to the SG Burlesque show on Thursday. once i admit to myself that i'm sick it usually goes away pretty fast. and i'm never one to miss out on attractive women dancing around in naughty and revealing clothes. positive visualization. i'm feeling better already
