honestly, this has been one of the strangest weeks of my life . . . from my B-Day to X-mas on through the weekend. it's as if each day has something new to reveal about myself.
in the midst of this I've begun a new mix CD and writing a short story. making a mix CD is probably one of the most enjoyable things I do, carefully putting together records, working and reworking the flow . . . i have two previous CD's. the first is a classic, perfect for long roadtrips through the desert to Black Rock City. the second one i would call transitional, i was integrating new sounds into my style and tried, ultimately unsuccessfully, to put them together. so this one, hmm, just have to wait and see, i'm very excited though.
so it's the new year here again, and of course, time to celebrate the birth of the beautifully divine Naiad. so please everyone, drown her in accolades and the sweet promise of everlasting adoration and if you're lucky she might sneer in your general direction
