I'm a zoology speciallist who has decided her true ambitions don't lie in the science, but instead in social work.
I don't yet have the academic prerequisites to apply to a masters in social work. I'm trying to get them now. I thought I'd have a bit of an advantage if I did another research course...this would be my fifth one, and most students don't even get to do one, so I'm more than qualified.
BUT...
stupid pretentious Trinity College wont take me into their independent studies program because my CGPA isn't high enough. Their GPA requirement is rediculously high...higher than the requirement to get into the masters program! I have the GPA to apply to a masters, but I can't get into a fucken undergrad course?! Rediculous.
*edited to add: I even have a professor in the faculty of social work - a GRADUATE program...in fact THE graduate program I would be applying to - that will take me as a student, but none of that matters...
I must find alternate ways to achieve my goal...

I don't even have a faux well. I gots nuthin in my yard but a tree. I don't even have a damn fence. I'd really like a fence cuz without it, I often have the neighbour's ugly-ass kids in my yard. I grew up in the country, with no neighbours to speak of. I'm not used to this yard sharing crap.
