Sounds like you two have things sorted. Best to get all you want to do done before you try to settle down. I did the same thing, I think it helps. Best wishes to you and Amy. Hopefully queers will be able to marry here, too. Yay for Canada for being so awesome! I went back to school to get a degree so that I could apply for Canadian citizenship. If my country stays with the direction that Bush has lead us in I'm out of here. I love America, but if it doesn't love me I think I would be better off someplace where I'm an equal, not a sinner who needs to be kept in the closet. Rant over.

nope i stopped volunteering with the mac glbt earlier this year because i couldn't handle some of the members. in my pics folder i have pictures from last years event though.

who from u of t is going... i like you guys a lot more to be quite honest. the mac crew, minus a view people, is pretentious, stuck up and do not take well to constructive criticism....i have brought up a lot of issues i;ve had with teh centre over the years and its always oh well next time. fuck it.
i'd show you a sampling but most of the message board stuff has been removed. mostly it involved a few people, but i couldn't be around people who were completely ignorant about trans issues in particular and were made excutives.
i also live really close to downtown and would love to join in on teh fun, but alas i do not attend glbt mac events, and i work in toronto this weekend. the embassey is close by, you can alwyas check that out if you want.

peopel come out at different times...but its strange at the same time...because being out at 15 means my high school experience was so differnt than most people...like all my friends were queer or homo positive and i lived in a sheletered environment where it was okay to be open at school with my gf and stuff it never crossed my mind not to be...and then i moved to hamilton for university and i felt like people tried to shove me back in teh closet. strange experience that.
