People who bitch and moan about things and haunt you for your advice, and then move right along on to the next person who hasn't heard their song and dance yet piss me off.

A) Get off your ass and DO something to solve your problem
B) Either take advice or stop asking for it

No one's life is simple, and sometimes people are having problems way worse than you are. But you know why you don't know about them?
Because you'd never have the courtesy to ask how they're doing. They put up a strong front, and since you're only good at looking at people on the outside, you buy it.
Because those people are attempting to tackle those demons themselves, rather than drag everyone on the planet into them.
Maybe I'm the cold hearted jackass. But there's a difference between venting and comiserating, and just plain sucking every positive feeling out of me.
I won't stand for it.
