Summer is here. They feel so different than they did when I was in school. Now it's just another set of months. With different weather.
The last summer that was memorable was the one when I lived in NYC. I was a completely different person, and that was four years ago. So crazy to think about.
Dan and I celebrate our 6 month anniversary tomorrow. Woowoo! Though my mom has already been blabbing to his mom saying how she'd feel much more comfortable with all this if I had a ring on my finger.
AAARGH. Jeez mom thanks. Yes, I know he's the one for me, and as a result, I have no problem waiting another 6 months to a year to confirm it. Stop being mental!
Work is driving me bonkers, and I feel like a blobulous chunk of ugly lately.
But, I know I'm really fortunate to be where I am right now, so I'll attempt to channel that jackassed-ness into something good. Just give me some time...

Good for you! Don't push a guy into giving you that ring. Often, it'll just push him into showing you the door. I can think of a few girls who could learn that lesson.
