Why do some people just love DRAMA. Its like they cant live without it. When they dont have any drama to enjoy.It seems like they try and create some for other people. These people suck. Please dont be one of these people.

"Me time" is definitely definitely important..yeah.. I think girls kind of get "me time" drilled into them by reading magazines like Cosmo... always giving advice on how to take langorous baths and how to spend a weekend doing nothing, or how to give yourself time off... yet those magazines also tend to make us feel completely inadequate, so hmm... It occured to me that I mat not be happy in life latley. I havent been enjoying my acomplishments. Ive been too worried about my next goal. I guess in my eyes, I havent really acomplished anything. IS That a curse? When anything is never good enough? Or is it a blessing when you keep obtaining higher goals?

I think it's great to keep obtaining higher goals! But you also need to acknowledge your accomplishments, definetly. I know when I don't acknowledge my accomplishments, I eventually just give up... because the goals become unreachable. eh, just throw a party for yourself, take a moment and realize that you accomplished something... then say "now what can I accomplish?" Life will seem a little easier.

This seems to be the never-ending conundrum with musicians... what's "good enough"? Is anything good enough? It's frustrating trying to figure out one's life, what's been worth how much and all that jazz.. and I hate feeling like all that I've accomplished just isn't enough. But I think.. I dunno, I guess we need to always strive for our own personal ideal... yet be able to recognize "hey, look where I've come from and look where I am now." Sometimes it helps to just go to a really fucking good show and say "damn. that's what all this is worth - getting THERE." anyways... hope things start to make more sense... and have a good night!

hehehe... I hear ya! There was a time when all I did was practice my ass off. And there was no room for my keyboard in my dormroom, so I just slept next to it on the bed. I felt like Jaco w/ his fretless... hehe... but it's so FUN being in a band! I love the rush of playing a gig. Even when you've played a thousand gigs, both amazing and shitty... it still feels GRAND to go onstage.
SO, I went to PappaRoach last night at H.O.B. in Hollywood. I went with such a bad attitude because I am not a fan. I was actually quite impressed. Their stage presence was amazing. It definitely relates. Thanks for the advice. I agree- it's all about passion. The reason I like him so much is because he is a very passionate person. He's a magician (hence the magic trick analogy) and I'm attracted to him because he is one of the most intense people I've ever met.... it isn't passion that he lacks. I think the passion needs to be two ways in order for it to work. I dunno. Maybe it's my fault.
Last night was the first night of 8 hour sleep I have had in years. I didnt even need an alarm clock. That was so great.I might try and do this on a regular basis.
