New Orleans, how can you not love it?

Apache Rose Peacock - Red Hot Chili Peppers
Sittin' on a sack of beans
Sittin' down in New Orleans
You wouldn't believe what I've seen
Sitting on that sack of beans

Lunatics on pogo sticks
Another southern fried freak on a crucifix
Hicks don't mix with politics
People on the street just kickin' to the licks

Last night, I had a strange dream. I don't really remember any of it, except the part were I woke up kissing my wife. It had something to do with breaking some blocks to save some people... I don't know, it made no sense. I scared my wife, she had been asleep for awhile, then grabbed her head and neck and started kissing her. I...

My wife's parent's house is still standing, but it got about six feet of water in it. The casino that her mom works in is still there, but it's not going to be running for a while. My wife and I were thinking about going back home and stay with relatives, so she can volunteer as a nurse, but we decided to stay out here...

Last night at 12:30AM, I got a phone call from my mom. She was on her way to pick up my grandma and two friends of my grandmas. My grandma was picked up by boat, taken to the interstate, and they took a bus load of people a couple of hours out of the city to a shelter. She lives in a house that is...

I posted a lot that is on my mind yesterday. Today, I spent most of my time online and watching TV, paying attention to what's going on in Mississippi and Louisiana. Mainly trying to figure out how my grandma and my wife's cat are doing. I contacted Louisiana State Police, but I wasn't able to reach them until it was about 10PM there. They said...

Last night, I wanted to update, but I decided I didn't feel like it. I had been on-line, staying updated on hurricane Katrina. It was the biggest hurricane, to ever hit land in the US. I'm pretty sure most of the people that I know got out of any bad areas, except for my grandma. She lives in New Orleans and stayed home.

....

I...

I'm so weird. I lost about 6 or 7lbs in the past two days. I haven't eaten much and I've been riding my bike some. The weird thing isn't just that I lost that much weight in two days, it's also that by tomorrow, I'll be about 7 or 8lbs heavier than today.

Anyway... That's all. I just wanted to update and that's all I...

I'm searcing for a new place for us to live. My wife has a new job in Duarte CA, which is near Los Angeles or part of, I really don't know. We were told that we should live in Pasadena, so it wouldn't be boring. I've been on-line for awhile looking at the area, trying to figure out where to live. I saw some places...

Yesterday, I slept late. In the afternoon, my wife called me and told me she had an interview over the phone and she got the job in Durate, CA. At the end of next month we are going to be moving. We are probably going to be living in Pasadena. I think both of these places are right above
Los Angeles. We've never been to...

Miyazaki is awesome. Have you seen Nausicaa? It's my favorite of his. I love the way he portrays strong female charachters.

I know what you mean about your own cooking. I have ruined myself for eating out.

I have seen Princess Mononoke but not Totoro. I have it on DVD but I haven't watched it yet. I should do that.
