I think I'm caught up
I have a six month old, starting today. He didn't want to miss turning six months, so he went to bed early and woke up at midnight, right when I was going to sleep. I wasn't in bed yet, because I decided to make sure he had a clean diaper and some socks on before I went to bed. So, I took care of that, then rocked him to sleep. I did a few little things that I needed to do before bed and got to bed right about 12. He woke up at 12:06.
Life's going pretty well right now. I have a wonderful baby. I have a teen that seems to be doing better than he used to, but I still got a call from the school today, so now he's punished from games, TV, movies, music, snacks and anything else I can think of. He also has to run three laps around the block when he gets home and goes to bed early, but can read for half an hour after he gets in bed. Today, the first day of his punishment, he got to bed late. I think he did it on purpose. He took his time with other things, so he wouldn't have time to finish some chores and wouldn't have to go to bed so early. Tomorrow, he'll have the surprise of having another day added to his punishment.
Tonight, he told me that a friend of his keeps "nutchecking" him. I think he told me he "deadlegged" the kid today. I told him next time his friend "nutchecks" him to tell his friend that the first time it's funny, the second time it's aggravating, by the third time it's just gay. After that, the kid will probably stopped, fearing that people will start calling him gay. I told him that he could add something like "your touching my nuts more than I do". He liked the idea. I try to get him to think about alternatives to hitting.

Nath and I still aren't too sure yet about having a kid, adoption does sound like it could be an option at some point. But like I said, we just don't know yet.
And I'm mostly jokin with you when I ask about California, it's just cause we miss you and would like to have you kids (and your kids) around.
