First day home alone with my baby. Things are going well, he was a little fussy, but now he's napping. Of course, he wasn't happy untill he spit up on daddy.
In other news, today was the controversial speech from the president to the students of America. I called my kids school to see if they would be watching it today. They said that it's coming on during lunch and they can't change their schedule to watch the speech, but it's the teacher's choice to show it after lunch... Cause it's too much trouble to change the schedule a little, I know they do it for other events.
Anyway, I hope my kid gets to watch it in school, if not, he'll watch it at home. It was a good speech. I'm tired and Ozzy just fell asleep. I might nap now.

If I had kids in this school district, I'd pull them out of school for the whole day and turn watching the speech into an event. He's our president! Why not let the students hear him. Don't foist your politics onto your kids. It never ends well, for either party.
