My friend's mom works at a nearby bar. I've been knowing my friend since I was around eleven and I met his mom shortly after I met him. I finally stopped by to see his mom, which I haven't seen in years. She was telling her coworkers about me and that I was the only kid that she had trusted to hang out with her son. I think she kind of thinks that I helped take care of her son when we were kids and when we were in school. I think I kind of did, or tried. He was a quiet kid, he would rarely say a word to anyone at school, other than me. He quit going to school in the seventh grade, but we still hung out and kept in touch after he moved farther away.

Anyway, him and his mom know me pretty well and know some of the things I've been through. She was telling me about when her son told her that I had cancer and was going through treatment. She was shocked and worried. She asked how I was doing. My friend told her something like "Of course he's doing fine, he's SexyBeast." (Except he doesn't call me SexyBeast)

Of course, I was doing fine, but I'm trying to figure out if it bothers me that some people don't worry about me because I can handle it and deal with things well...


I really thought that I had something more interesting to say, but now I'm distracted and annoyed. I so tired of living with other people.
