Okay, time for an official journal

Life has been busy, but its really not that important. What is more important is actually taking the time to do things that are significant and meaningful. I always seem to forget that when I get wrapped up in the trivial, minor routine of life.

I attended a funeral, Tuesday morning, for a woman who was VERY close to my mother and me. This woman always took the time to do the right thing. I say right thing, meaning she took the time, and always made sure that she did right by others, and always took things in stride. She had a great upbeat personality, shared great stories, and loved life. It through my relationship with her, that I have so many fond memories of my earliest days and growing up.

Its things like the loss of a person this special, which bring life back into perspective.

I love you Kathryn! You will be missed. Say hi to Maam for me!
