Man I hate sports. The Olympics this year? Big bore. All knowledge is useful, I think, except knowledge of sports. Knowledge of sports is slightly inferior to knowledge of how to bake, since knowing how to bake could be important if all you had to eat was eggs, flour, and sugar and you had a stove.

However, there is no situation in which knowing anything about the Dallas Cowboys would be essential. (Although knowledge of the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders can be of great comfort).

At all times committing precious neurons to the storage of sports data is like putting random numbers on your speed dial.
