I've just got back from my long weekend away in Devon. I had a good time, only it wasn't long enough! Devon is so pretty, i'm wasting my life away here in this poo-hole.

We were staying in this little cottage in the countryside, it was so cute and homely. The first night we stayed in and settled in and Reb made us all a yummy roast dinner. We did some shopping the next day and went to Scotts Guns 2 Roses gig. Don't think my friends enjoyed it much, it's not really their thing but they were impressed with Scotts playing (I think!) We ended up staying in bed till 11.30 today when we were supposed to be out by 10.. so the owner came around bashing on the door, ha ha.

I tried to take piccimajigs for a set for SG but they turned out pretty crap, so i'll wait till next week when I have a bit of spare time and try again. I took lots and lots of pictures of Emma and Becky and they turned out really nice. Emmas parents were dead impressed apparently (go me!)

Front page in the paper today: Victoria Beckham and David Beckham story (again) Apparently he's only staying with her for the baby and whatnot, i'm not sure whether it's sadder that it makes the front page of a newspaper, or sadder that it turns out Becks is just a complete bastard after all.

I feel so hopeless about the elections i'm tempted not to bother voting, but I will vote. Obviously. It's just sad that there's no real alternative apart from Toreyscum. As Tony Parsons put it, i'll vote Blair ..with a sigh.
