Yep, I love the Summer 
I've just had a really really good weekend at Download. Despite the unyielding sun frazzling my skin, and coming home looking fifty years older than I did when I left, it's been awesome.
Cracking open a beer at half 9 in the morning. It's just a shame it was so damn hot because most of the time I didn't have enough energy to dance like a fool.

Bands I really enjoyed were SiKth, Tool, Deftones, In Flames and i've never really been a huge Metallica fan but I thought they put on a damn good show. Oh, and Prodigy. Prodigy was pretty insane!
The highlight for me, though, has to be Guns N' Roses. If only because Izzy fuckin' Stradlin turned up! Axl was being a cock as usual and the new stuff was rubbish, but apart from that it was great. Apart from the bit where I nearly got hit by a bottle of wee.
It's nice to be home, though, and not have a nose full of dust bogeys and suffering from chronic hayfever. Summer's been good for me so far, trips to the beach with some really really awesome people
I saw a couple of people mulling around with SG shirts and people I thought I recognised but didn't get a chance to say hi. Not sure if anyone noticed me there.
Anyway, now i'm going to go sulk that I can't renew my passport in time for me to go on holiday on Wednesday. 250 down the drain.
Oh well, i'm still sickeningly happy for now
