Well, to be honest, no-one on this site actually reads my blogs (sniff, poor me). So, I am only writing posts here so that when I apply to join a group (ahem, Deunan - PSW), they might consider me reasonably "normal" & allow me to join...

My membership is coming up for renewal at the end of this month. For the first time since I joined SG I am actually giving serious consideration to leaving. It makes me sad & angry that the site is selling out more & more every month. This whole SG brand-drive (see the SG dvd) is nauseatingly fake & pretentious. It makes me embarrassed to be an SG member.

Seeing the spread of groups like pro-Israel, pro-military, survivalists, Republicans etc., proves to me that SG is in no way "alternative", which is what attracted me in the first place.

Ok, ok, the idea of lots of naked girls was attractive too.

Plus the best SGs have left, the type of girl that gets her sets bought is less & less "alternative" & more scrawny, overly made up & silicone-enhanced. With the exception of the delicious Galda, when was the last time a plump girl went front page?? Or an Asian/black/Indian girl?

Obviously, there's still a lot to love. I guess i just need to get more involved.
