absolutely... Crimson and Clover by Tommy James and the Shondells. though I think I heard the version by Velvet Underground first.

I highly recommend that given the chance you go see KISS in concert.. I saw them 3 times on their reunion tour.. and being a kiss fan since i was a weeee youngster, i literally had tears in my eyes the first time i saw them in their regalia..
