My now short hair, with some burgundy hair extensions courtesy of Vivid. I took 4 of the 1 inch wide extensions from the complete set she'd made for me when my hair was still long, and I trimmed them to the length of my hair now.



Also--I went to the clinic this morning and our dog was there!!!! love someone had picked her up and taken her to the shelter. I'm getting tags made for her this weekend so IN CASE this happens again, someone can look at her tags and call me. She is microchipped, but the shelter didn't scan her. pffft.whatever

Yay! Congrats on getting your dog back. That's always been my worry about my kids' microchips - someone would find one of them, adopt it, and the first time they take it to the vet for something, the vet wouldn't think to scan for it. There was controversy several years ago with competing companies using totally different microchips, so the shelters and vets would have to have a scanner for each type, which was expensive. And some were predominant in certain regions, so if an animal happened to travel a long distance, the shelters in the area might not have a scanner for their type. I'm not certain how or if that was ever resolved.
