So...in my cat rescueing endeavors: I also rescued a stray kitty about 3 weeks ago. She was wandering around my work, I was working night shift and I managed to catch her. Well.....last night she had SIX kittens! Anyone want a cute kitten in about 12 weeks? Already speutered before they leave!! 
I still have the boy Devon from my last post. He is 6 years old, declawed and really fat! I had to de-flea him and put him on a diet. He looks just like Garfield! I hope someone can find a place in their heart (and home) for these rescues. Times are hard right now, but pets are proven to reduce stress!

Silencia is taking care of a mother and baby she and/or a coworker found. All of the shelters are full around here. Good luck.

yeah, they're full around here too. Well, there's only 1 shelter near me that will take cats. all the rest take dogs only 
I went to the one that takes cats the other day, and they were packed with kittens. they were offering an adoption special of adopt one kitten get the other free. The Petsmart in Springfield had adoption day yesterday, and they're also offering adoption discounts. Looks like things are gonna be tough!
