First things first! I got a new (to me) lap top! It is so much easier to use and so much faster than my old one, however, I don't have any of my photos on here yet so I can't share with you. Let's just make this a quick text blog then!

This morning I had to get up early and take two of our kitties to the vet. They are going to get spayed/neutered and neither one of them have ever been to the vet. Raven- the older of the two was really outspoken about not wanting to be in her crate and meowed the whole way there and the entire time we were in the office. Harrison- the little grey kitten we rescued last week was very calm the whole time and I told him how I proud of him I was. Let's hope things go smoothly and they both come back in perfect health! I love my babies so I worry so much any time I have to take one to the vet.

The other big thing going on in my life is my job situation. Unfortunately, I'm not very happy at work and I'm not making enough money. I was working two jobs before- serving tables and picking up at a call center- and I was making a couple of hundred more a month. Now I am in retail management and my hours have slowly been cut back over the last month since we hired a new part time associate. I'm full time but I'm not clocking more than 30 hours a week which means after taxes I bring in less that $250 a week. I think I am going to go back to serving tables- as much as I hate it. The environment can be better and I will definitely be making more than I am now if I go to the right place. I like the fast paced environment, but I hate serving people food. I might also look into a second job if I'm not making enough money there but at least I should have a more flexible schedule and more time to model. What would you all do in my situation?

On a positive note, I'm in my best friend's wedding this week and this weekend is Gay Pride in Atlanta! I have a lot to look forward to right now and I'm doing my best to stay positive through all of the stressors being thrown at me. Halloween is coming up, though I don't know if we will be doing anything, it's still my favorite holiday and I look forward to all things pumpkin.

I'm also trying to set up a shoot with a local photographer so we can make some magic for here and Zivity. It's my scheduling holding us back so hope I get a break soon!
