Big job coming up. We rescued a wolfdog about 4 days ago to add to our pack. He's 5 years old, never been trained, and is half-starved and full-nervous. He's been getting better about coming to me day by day, but I am dreading the day I become his Alpha. He is HUGE. I've already been bitten by him once, not hard, just a warning on my calf out of fear. I've been imagining different scenarios as to how it will go down, but I think in the end it will be just like every other, hard. We're going to rename him Congo, I won't speak his current name because it is just so stupid. Wish me luck!

Thank you for the encouragement and good luck wishes. I had some luck the other night dealing with the food aggression, then the next morning took a step backwark when he snatched the food bowl out of my hand. Between you and me, I think my mom makes him nervous, he's always at his worst when she's nearby. I'll figure something out. I love the pooch Kristyna, and hello Niobe!
