Hey all,

Soooo, I met with the potential client, and it's bigger than I originally thought. They would work out a commission rate + expenses + possible monthly depending on how I want to work. Higher commissions for lesser fixed income, salaries get lower commission rate, etc. The whole company is more set up than I realized and my friend who called and asked me to come in was really pitching to me on taking care of me, making sure I'm not paying anything out of pocket, what works for me, ethics, etc. It was refreshing and awesome. It's not often that people talk to you about choosing what works best for you, honestly, and doing the right thing. Nor is it often that I hear people say they would not want to leave this company because they're so well taken care of. Add that on top of being completely up-front that he wants to make money and me to make money, plus support in setting up a business plan to make that happen, and I'm pretty impressed + excited.

I still need to let another client know so there are no secrets or surprises and I need to pull together some lists, then numbers. But hey, the ball is in my court.

I'm a bit taken aback that this and my last opportunity came to me and are so insistent on bringing me on board, just based on me being me. I'm pretty happy that my reputation is supporting me quite nicely.

And in a moment, new possibilities appear. . .
