Today was full of nothing going as planned.

I had a date, one I had a good feeling about and was excited for, and that was a no from the moment we met up. Not only was I late, which I don't habitually do, but where we went was off, I found he is the polite police to everybody in the public, and I just didn't feel the spark. I tried, I loosened up, but it just didn't click. Sigh. Also, the timing of the date conflicted with meeting a client, so I was stressed that things didn't work out better and wasn't sure if that was the best use of my time.

Speaking of the client, I did end up getting done (/escaping) the date earlier than thought, so I called, texted, emailed, and headed to where they were supposed to be. After 3 HOURS of just killing time, making phone calls, waiting, I called it a day.

My back hurt(s), I was killing time shopping/torturing myself since I have $9 for this week, and it is now cold out, so pleasant as you can imagine.

I finally headed to this "party" in my neighborhood that wasn't a party at all. Different crowd than I thought, way more crammed than anyone expected, and with what I came there for not in sight.

Surprisingly, I'm good. Tired, but so grateful. Just naturally so, it's kind of interesting to me. I did get to find out about this date even though it wasn't necessarily a good date, and I didn't have to pay for the coffee I had, and I spent time with a customer while waiting for my client, and I showed myself that all I have is all I need and really stuck to not buying anything. Then, when I finally got here, home, I was just overwhelmed with how lucky I am to come here, be warm, be safe, and get to have peace outside the rest of my day.

I hope your weekends are well, and if going unexpected, you find something good in the twist.
