So, I guess I should update huh?

Things were crazy Saturday night. I've been working every day almost for a month now and Saturday I was just exhausted as the GF just kept me up Friday. So we had this Gogol show to go to Saturday and I am spent.

We go to Graceland, which is the king club of bad vibes and second hand smoke, to meet Volks and Kara and they are fresh off from showing the a drunken car full of guys who happened to be the band how to get to the club. Opening act was Devotchka, who were a bit precious (Radiohead meets world music?).

Gogol Bordello are wicked and hyper and excellent as usual. Eugene Hutz just digs. The dude is a real Rockstar of the type that's hard to get anymore - very charismatic but with no self consciousness or poseur ego.

After the show, and briefly considering an invitation to hang out with the band, we go grab a quick drink at the Lobo and then go home where its all porn dvds and sex until 5 am or so.
