Aw, mom, do I *have* to update?
Things have been pretty busy the past few days. Here are all the projects Ive been skipping around, perhaps skipping way too quickly around:
1) Enabling my phone for internet so I can download XIII and Price of Persia in order to evaluate them for a job application. Never had internet before on a phone, but the feature proved immediately useful for downloading Brick House as a new ring tone. The games are not bad either, though I would normally have no desire to game on my phone (thats what the Game Boy Advance is for, silly).
2) Getting my drawing licks up again in order to collaborate on a project with a friend. This needs more serious time than Ive been giving it the past few days, as Im totally stiff, having done very little art in the last couple years beyond the goddess-of-the-moment drawings. I may be biting off more than I can chew, but I dont want to disappoint my talented collaborator, so I will keep at it until I have something I can spit back at him.
3) Ive needed to play a massively multiplayer online game a role playing game as Ive missed this boat until now because of the huge chunk of time it takes. Now I have the time, or maybe I thought I did, so I went out and picked up Final Fantasy XI. Ive played for only a couple hours so far, but it looks like fun and thus a monstrous sucking vortex like something out of Lovecraft. Im hoping I can write about the experience, so Ill have something at the end of the day besides large chunks of my life inexplicably gone.
4) I have this big, fat, Flash book that Im trying to wade through. Currently Im on the tweening tutorials, but I havent even looked at this in a week. Need to get back on before the short term memory does a wipe and I forget everything I learned so far.
5) Ah, and then theres some new LD romancin such a sweet sweet girl, and I even can tell from a coupla thousand miles away!
So yeah. Theres what I do all day for those who have asked. What else? Lately Ive been thinking about this song way too much.

Have you played it? I'm not the sort of person who usually finds old-school style games addicitve, but there's something about this one.
