So tonight is some panel discussion at Digipen about the future of multi-player gaming with a guy from Monolith and the guys from Penny Arcade. Let's see if I can meet some local gaming people and if it will do me any good eh?

The weekend was pretty ok. I skipped Friday and Saturday you heard about. I always like spenidng time with Volks, Kara, Adore and Monkeypox even if we had to deal with the suburbs before hand.

I made dinner for Roxy Sunday and we watched "Night of the Living Dead". Ah what a debt we owe to George Romero. Without him we would have no plodding flesh eating zombies. I wonder how many movies owe their mythology to this one? How many games? I turn to Rox about a half hour into the film: "it's a SURVIVAL HORROR movie!" making little collecting items noises when Duane Jones finds the rifle and bullets (you found RIFLE BULLETS bling!).

Ah Duane Jones. There was a "last" interview on the DVD with Duane and it kind of ruined my high opinion of him that he pretty much sounds like a dick. A boring dick. Like Shatner with no sense of humor.

I know he died in 1988 under some shady circumstances, but specifically the only info I can find on Google is a biography in Spanish. I do however see he starred in other classics like "Ganja and Hess", a movie so good it apparently needs six other names:

... aka Black Evil (1972)
... aka Black Vampire (1972)
... aka Blackout: The Moment of Terror (1972)
... aka Blood Couple (1972) (cut version)
... aka Double Possession (1972)
... aka Vampires of Harlem (1972)

Anyone seen these seven films, I mean one movie? UnZ? And who can tell me what ultimately happened to Duane?

Hahaha. No, I haven't seen any of those films. I did however see Beat Street and Fright House, both of which starred Duane Jones.

PS - Lawyers are for gays. I use a slightly older tool of the legal system, sometimes refered to as "baseball bats." And when I say legal system, I meant to say the mafia.
