Well the job hunt is moving along. I have until the middle of August to find SOME sort of thing that will earn me SOME sort of living. Until then, I need to come up with plan B, just in case the lousy job market turns nothing up in my chosen profession.
My list of Plan Bs so far, feel free to suggest anything that you may think appropriate for me:
B1) take a cooking class and become expert pancake chef.
B2) look into teaching. Though Im not sure I want to resign myself yet to the life of poverty this entails. Teaching in this country guarantees you a standard of living somewhere between that of a nun and a fry cook. Not to mention the student loans racked up to get the teaching degree/certification.
B3) Look into moving back to Brooklyn and opening a DVD rental store. This was something I was thinking about for a while. DVD place only. Huge selection of games and movies along the lines of Kim's - carefully select an up and coming neighborhood that doesnt have on of these yet.
B4) The perennial favorite: Bartend, bartend, bartend.
