Somehow I don't get emails when people comment and its hard to check this site now that I am FAMILY FRIENDLY.

Is there anyone in LA I should be sayin' HI to that I have somehow missed? I may be in need of a social life, but can't promise much. You can come over and do laundry and play with my kid, maybe...

I might be moving to LA for a year or two but I'm afraid to bring a kid out there. I mean, I am afraid anyway. But at least our kids would go to shows together and get drunk together.

I am now in LA.

I just finished Iron Council by China Miville.

If you like well written, original fantasy, please investigate. Miville writes around thought provoking themes (Iron Council meditates on political dissent, revolution, labor uprisings and terrorism), and pairs them with some mind blowing action set pieces and the strangest creatures you never saw in the D&D Monster Manual. Happy Helloween.
