OK, reports from the front lines. On New York One, (the NYC 24 hour news channel) they just previewed a report "... and we'll tell you how the Police are preparing for a possible transit strike..." at which point they show a video of about 15 cops lined up in Riot Gear.

I heard on 1010 WINS this morning an ad for some kid's science museum that promised that Mommies would love to experience the Touch Tunnel. Don't most healthy women enjoy the Touch Tunnel? Do we need to include that in a Kids Museum? I wonder if they have a wall with glory holes for the Dads...

I linked over from the NYT today to this short Dutch film that's viewable on the net... its called Necrocam and its about these kids who put a cam inside the coffin of a recently deceased buddy. Kind of creepy yeah, but really moving and one of those things that just gets you thinking, and thinking, and thinking...
