i've had a bit of a creative burst lately...
i had an entire day to just do whatever i wanted (god bless random bank holidays) and i have to say i've been inspired. i started reading the archives of wil wheaton's blog and it's not at all what i expected, but it's made me realize how much i miss writing and creating and playing guitar. sooo, i've done a bit of all three today and it's been lovely. i realize how much i've become separated from my artsy side, and it's a little frightening. dogs and derby pretty much dominated my life, which isn't necessarily bad, but there's a disconnect in there. so i'm going to try and pair up old and new jessica and see what happens. i think i'm going to try and at least write a bit each day. it's easy to do with the interwebs, i'll just make sure and blog on here or myspace or some such...

well, i've totally sucked at all those resolutions :/ my guy friend came back into town for a week right after i posted, so that blew all my plans out of the water... not that i can complain too much... and then i went and busted a nail off, so guitar plans are kind of ruined atm, as well. boo for me.
