Okay, so now for the weekly PRIDE update. Some of our 'spies' have told us that EXODUS has decided that we are sticking our heads up too far and next year they are going to try to bring us back down to 'where we should be'. Point two, we have been talking about what we want to do next year. Everybody has decided to go with my idea . I dont know about the name though....Queer Bash. Its funny yes, but offensive to some of the membership. Okay so, they've decided they are going for a coming out week next year. Queer Bash will be one of the events during that week. It will be a carnival type thing with fun games and a GLBT twist to everything. Also a good chance to educate people! Plus, because of the size/nature of the event they cant hide us in the worst possible place like they normally do.
Tonight was the lyp synch contest, we've been trying to show the Greeks up at their own game by getting involved with campus stuff(If only they knew how much of our membership was Greek ). But various assholes have been threatning the leadership with bullshit like funding(hey we're already the worst funded GLBT organization in the state(by A LOT!). Jokes on them, if they take anymore funding away then we cant afford the suicide capsules from NASA, they want us all to take so we would just Go away! Even worse though they've been threatening the membership with 'membership lists' so NO ONE comes to anything anymore . Not even the E-board has a membership list!
Final note, I did find someone with a digital camera so I should get some sort of dragshow pic up in the next couple of weeks .
