Perhaps the greatest four minutes of music art in the history of mankind.

Oh god, I totally agree. I just had to watch that twice. I listen to the song in regular rotation, but it's been years since I've seen the video.
programchaos:
what did you think about his work with Genesis? We're not on the bill for Coachella cuz if it does happen it's a late add.

Great (other) date tonight at The Brigantine in Del Mar. Drove by the place on Camino Del Mar that gave me my start in the business of digital/Internet production 13 years ago. No longer there, of course, but I...

Long day, much work. Should've stayed later yesterday to get more done, so that today wouldn't have been so hectic, but there it is. Fairly proud of the stuff I got done though. There a...

Pretty standard type day today. Work went fairly well, finished earlier than I thought. However, came home and found out my new Wii Remote is defective, so I gotta trade that in. Nuisance.

So yeah, really good date last night. Happy about that. Don't fully know how truly...

Hey. Nice to hear about your date. And I'm also very glad to hear that things aren't going too bad for you lately. I could say things are ok, but there's a lot of weirdness right now. I'm definitely in a transition phase, I was feeling it in 2009, but this year is now definitely announcing big big changes.

Aside the breakup, work is weird. I've been working in a bakery since may (and the salary is crappy), after being unemployed for about 6 months. I've worked in a studio as well since may, and quit after Christmas. I at least experimented with family and couple portraits enough to know it's not my thing (even if I suspected it). I'm working part-time now, but I just got a call to work 2 days a week with my ex-manager, in my field of expertise. I'm also starting to get some serious photo contracts in line, so that's another thing. Finally, I decided to change directions in my personnal work, and go more towards photojournalism, or politically committed art rather than fashion and portraits. Not that I won't ever do that again, but the subject just doesn't motivate me enough. So yeah, that's a lot.

And needless to say, the breakup fucks me up a bit. I'll really need some more money, I don't make enough to live by myself as it is now. And well, it seems Gab already is interested in someone else. A really, really attractive, and interesting... 18 year old. I don't even feel that bad about it, but let's say the whole situation makes me unstable. I am confident we are doing the right thing though, and I know things are going to end up fine. I just have to mourn a little.

Hope things will continue going in the right direction. Good to hear from you. smile

Ohhhh......... shit. I gotta face up to the fact that I'm at least somewhat addicted to Wii Tennis. I played it for an hour and a half tonight, just like I did on Tuesday. I actually maxed out my skill level long ago, but now I have this...

Today was long, and somewhat brutal. Trying to keep at a modicum of body thinness by not eating so much can be exhausting. Add to that consistent business at work and you have the recipe for frustration.

However, I did see this little...
